Tell me about your role at HUB24 Group? What do you do?
My journey with HUB24 began in October 2023, focusing primarily on the Class business as the brand and marketing manager. I have the privilege of wearing two hats: serving as the brand champion for Class and supporting the development of marketing campaigns. This dual role perfectly aligns with my passion for both branding and marketing.
In your opinion, what makes HUB24 Group a great place to work?
Without a doubt, it’s the people. Being part of a team where collaboration and mutual success are prioritised is incredibly rewarding. The colleagues I’ve interacted with across HUB24 Group are not only talented but also embody the company’s values, making it a truly supportive and inspiring environment to work in.
Which one of our group values resonates with you the most and why?
‘Succeed As One’ resonates with me the most. I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration. Leveraging our collective strengths and experiences to achieve shared goals is something I see as vital to our success. It’s about working together and celebrating our achievements as a team.
What is your ‘superpower’ and how do you use this in everyday life?
My hidden talent is baking, and when combined with my quest for finding joy in everything I do, it becomes my superpower! During the COVID lockdown, I turned my passion into a little business called Cake&BakeCo. Baking serves as my creative outlet and a way to spread joy. I donate a portion of every cake sale to a charity close to my heart. Earlier this year, I participated in The Biggest Morning Tea at Class, and to my surprise, my hummingbird cake won first prize and the People’s Choice award! I also had the honour of creating a cake to celebrate HUB24’s 2024 Wealth Insights award for securing first place in Brand Image and Reputation.
If there was one piece of career advice you could give someone, what would that be?
My best advice is to say yes to every opportunity that comes your way. It’s the best way to grow, learn new skills, and gather experiences that might just open unexpected doors for you. It’s about being open to the journey and all the possibilities it brings.
