What inspired you to apply for an internship opportunity at HUB24?
Coming from a background of several years of experience in risk and compliance in my home country, I felt it was important for me to re-establish my base knowledge in the Australian financial industry. I thought it would help me better understand the key components required for future roles.
How would you describe the culture here?
A good working atmosphere with friendly people. Everyone was supportive and willing to offer their knowledge and help when I needed it.
How do you think interning at HUB24 is going to impact your future career?
I feel that this internship has made me job-ready to apply for full-time roles in the future. This opportunity has equipped me with a lot of skills needed in the real world, such as learning to prioritise tasks requested and identifying components necessary to complete a task, which I previously would not have had.
What advice would you give future candidates exploring internships at HUB24?
I would advise future interns to be as open to learning new things as they can and to try to take in as much knowledge as possible. The employees at HUB24 generally have a plethora of knowledge and experience which they are happy to share at any time.
I am so grateful that HUB24 has decided to extend my internship, so I will be here a lot longer than the initial 12 weeks.
